I think the metaverse and all this NFT stuff is just a convenient way to distract people from the fact that they cant afford to live a normal life. Who needs a real house when you can have a virtual house, who needs a real car when you can have a virtual car and so on. Its a way for the elites to quell the masses because eventually people will start to get angry that they dont own anything. So instead of having real property you will have fake bullshit virtual items.
