I think you can build that kind of website (or better!) with Joomla, it has quite a lot of multimedia extensions/plugins.
Hey there, The Within Temptation website is run on Wordpress, i have actually just had my bands website setup (www.sarcood.com still a work in progress) and am using Wordpress to update it myself. this site is already good enough but with wordpress you can customize seo as well as make it quicker. Good looking website btw.

Wordpress if you keep it updated is a bit easier to use than Joomla and a bit better on SEO. Both will work, best thing to do is use whichever one you like using! Really isnt going to be much of a difference. Be very careful with plugins, make sure they are secure so your site doesnt get hacked. Back up everything to your home computer and a dvd as well, and do them on a regular basis so that when/if you get hacked you can recover.
