    Hi everyone!

    I was wondering if i shoudl use the following meta tags on my site:

    <meta name="ROBOTS" CONTENT="ALL">
    <meta name="ROBOTS" CONTENT="index">
    <meta name="robots" CONTENT="follow">
    <meta name="revisit-after" content="20 days">

    And how many keywords is too many? I have the important ones in front, but i have a ton after them...

    Thanks! :)

    I never use that. If they aren't, is the same for search engines.
    They index the page and follow its links anyway.

    Hmm, I do not think that google, like Yahoo! and Msn, looks at that.
    :)

    not necesary, default

    That tells bots NOT TO COME BACK for 20 days.

    Keywords aren't necessary. Only the title tag is necessary, and the meta description tag is recommended.

    IMO, a robots.txt file is the best method for spider instructions.

    The description tag is real important because it can play a major part in the conversion factor - what the description says always plays a part in whether people click on your link or not.

    Not nescessary - while it is in the standards, noone looks at it. Kind of like the service levels in the IPV4 standard....

    I only use the keyword and description meta tags. It is not that relevant for major SE but it is a good habit for new search engines and for users.
