    Hi

I noticed all of search engine crawlers takes meta keywords as meta description. Where i need to index my meta description, it indexes keywords and meta description totally ignored,

Is there any problem with position and placement of meta tags in html code or what else ?

Are you sure? It is a little difficult to speak in broad terms but let's stick to Google for this here. Now Google usually takes words from your page content and uses those to provide descriptions according to the search query used to find the page.

This is why description meta tags are often bypssed in favour of more relevant text on the page.

So you say search engines like Google are actually taking your meta keyword tag info instead of on page content or your description (should that have been chosen as the best match for a particular query) and this is unusual to say the least.

Now I seem to remember having seen this b4 but would you please show us an example of Google using your meta keyword tag as your description please as it will be interesting to see and take a look so we can discuss this further?
