I think you should use meta keywords for not too many words contain in it, max 5-6 words out without repeated. Meta keywords not using in ranking purpose in Google for several years but use in adsense bot to read and bring the right ads. on your site or may have some important in another SE eyes.

Seobankok is right, Google does not use Meta tag at all but still there are few search engines that use meta tag content to determine relevancy. You can repeat the keyword in the Meta tag few times but avoid the repetition because search engines may penalize your site for overuse of keywords.

That's not write. Google do take some consideration of meta-tags also.
IMO -If you don't have relevant metatags , but have high PR and lot of backlinks, then you may not be able to find your site in the tops -- if you have not optimized meta-tags. ;)

It's better to use meta tag with important relevant keywords in them rather than no meta tags. Some amount of keyword repetition in the meta tag is permissible if contained in different phrases but many search engines may penalize your site for overuse of keywords.

Yes, Google pay attention to meta tags but only description tag, not keyword because it used to spam for several times. For now, google put more weights on site title at first priority then description tags.

Just repeat your most important keyword(s) once, and remember, space or comman will only help you to separate the words, they will not help search engines.

The latter way is correct, actually. The first way it's as if you're optimizing for "videos" and "pictures" as well as Russell Crowe. Also, don't put a space between your keywords, just a comma and use 7-10 keywords total.

I would personnally go with having each word once and stick with it, would you rather play it safe with getting the keyword in once or risk getting both penalized because you had to use two!
