I have a large website with thousands of pages and a limited admin panel, my site is a price comparison script that I would like to optimize all the meta tags on my site. Right now I can't put a title for the categories or sub-categories, or anything. I need assistance if anyone can help.
I wouldn't worry to much about meta tags because they don't have ranking weight. The meta keywords tag is completely useless. Most major search engines do not use that tag as ranking factor. It simply informs the search engines of what your website is containing. As for the meta description tag, it also has no ranking power. However it is the first description a user will get of your website when you first appear in SERPs. So it is important that you have an impact on your user. Give a brief, precise, and attractive description to increase your click through rate.
