    The test is on!

I have taken a well optimized site with no possible sandbox issues, in a highly competitve market and removed the keyword and description meta tags.

I have also reduced each page title to a two word title.

    TODAY: 02/26/05
Average successful requests for pages per day: 442 (400)

this test will run atleast 30 days! - check back for the weekly results.....

I think only thing that will make a difference is change in title but of course I could be wrong. Do know title change shakes up the SERPs.

I think changing the title invalidates the test personally as we all know that the title tag has an effect on rankings. it would be interesting to just remove the meta data on site with a stable ranking and see what happens.
