Meta tag keywords importance in all the major search engines

    Plese tell me about the meta tag keywords importance in Google, Yahoo and MSN. Does Every search engine have the same importance of Meta Tag Keywords

    The Meta Tag Descriptions tells the description of what the site is all about...:D

    It applies to all SEs..

    I believe Yahoo counts them a little bit. Google only checks the Description tag (afaik).

    they all read the keywords tag, however, none of them weigh it very heavily if at all. Only in extremely rare cases have I seen the keywords tag counted towards ranking.

    Some search engine still gives value to meta tags when it comes to SERP.

    I think all the search engine has a different algorithm for their rankings. So Keywords in meta tag are not have the same mean for all the searh engines.

    some of SE's still read the meta tags,, but some aren't... so it is still advisable to include it for it doesn't harm your site if you place metas...
