meta tag in wordpress

    how to add meta description for home page in wordpress blog?

    I can add meta details using Wordpress SEO plugin in article but don't know to add in home page.

    please help

    Go to admin dashboard - setting - general.
    Add title and tagline(meta description)
    That's all.

    Warning! if you already added to Wordpress SEO, need not to add anything. You will create double titles and meta.
    No good for SEO to my personal opinion.
