Please tell me is ISDN actually is any good for you because I have not heard much good about them. Thanks, I ran that script previously, but it was always breaking and the support was so delayed that it could take weeks to months to get it fixed - not a good business model...
I have just this week put a new search engine on http://www.wigby.com and I went for http://www.extremecorporate.com/index-new.html because it is on special offer and came with free instalation. So far so good
Wow, that is a cool piece of software, but it runs so SLOW that I am not sure many would use it (but it is cool). I use Extreme Search also for many of my engines - great company and good product.
I am the developer of 9meta.com metasearch engine and i can sell it to you. You can check it and its features. If you like it contact me.
I've been thinking about using the ExtremeCorporate stuff as well, so I'm glad to see good reviews of their product and their support. I'm thinking to test viability (see if my visitors like and use it) first with one of three cheaper search engines (one is free). Carrot2: http://project.carrot2.org/ (free) PHP Search Engine: http://codecanyon.net/item/php-search-engine/full_screen_preview/4052196 OK, the PHP is not meta, it uses the Bing API solely - but is it difficult/expensive to add additional APIs, other search engines, to an existing script? I don't know...it's why I'm learning PHP the past week. Any thoughts on any of these would be great!
I bought Intout Scripts Search Engine v8 and Inout spider script. They could not be integrated together and are full of bugs, errors and warnings. What is more the Inout Spider could produce a ton of error logs and core files and caused the server down. One year later, I had to pay another $480 to install Nutch/HBase to replace the Inout Scripts™ Crawler. to my surprise, the installed Nutch was not working. There was only 6Gb data 4 months later. They did not get it fixed. They said the open source code Nutch might have some limitation. They complained of the server. Finally, they they took the cash without reimbursement. These fishing scamming guys live in Kerala India. Their main members are Jacom, Kumar, Nair, and Saranya. To avoid loss, not to purchase Inoutscripts. It's so terrible. They just got 20 fake scripts from students with very little investment. They don't have any professional developers at all. A team of indian amateur scam the customers from 115 countries by advertising and posting thousands of fake articles at social networks.
Thanks for this collection its interesting. Its something new for me. I think i should search this more.
