Meta Names for Location

I came across this today reviewing some ones website, I have never seen this before and I don't think any of these are needed? I certainly have never used them for SEO.

Does anyone use any of these?

Yes! These tags are of no use these days but some of these are regularly used in websites like copyright, author, language etc.

taz.solution, do you find the mentioned metas work? I have noticed a bunch of high ranking sites implementing these metas....

 

The author tag use to be important, but not anymore, the same way that Keywords tag is of no importance today. Some still use it, as th common thinking is that even if it won't help, it won't hurt , but generaly, don't put too much emphasize on it
