    No, Meta keyword tags are not important for Google anymore BUT other search engines still consider it.
    Inserting meta keyword tags is a good practice because you are not optimizing your website for Google only... You get certain traffic from other search engines also.

    I tell you i m testing this when i using meta tags my alexa is 200000 before without meta tags my alexa is 500000 it's sounds great.
