meta description

    Need some guru answer...
    i have one site(content) it was installed with precompiled aspx(without sources)
    i decompile few critical pages to take control over them but for more i can not.
    POPINT. There is NO meta tag for descrption and keywords. Only title.
    Is it vital for seo? Till now site can not go more then top 20 on anchors.
    Any advice appreciated.

    I would add a unique meta description for each page. It still helps. Keywords don't.

    Yup ....more over Google find it important and at the end of the day isn't that important

    google really dont much value meta description this time but they're still snippet word upon searcher query still it can help your ranking if you use meta description..
