Meta description - Does the order play any role?

Hello together, I am a newbie to SEO so I got the following question:

Does it play any role to SEO in which order the meta description is given?

    Example:
Meta description 1: "Apple creates iPods and iPads and also Mac"
Meta description 2: "Apple creates Mac and also iPods and iPads"

Or is the result exactly the same for SEO?

    Kind regards,
    Peter Miller

    Hi Peter,
Just try it directly on search engine.
I just search on google to compare between:
    iPods and iPads
    and
    iPads and iPods
    the result were different.

    I guess that's the answer.
    cheers,

    Sam

Yes , surely it does. You can check that by your keyword. If the keyword are so related, then the results differ very low.

I believe the location of your meta description plays a role in your website's SEO. I would also a assume a strongly worded meta description is help because I usually skim the description before I click a link.

It has a different result. You can further know which one would be better to use by knowing the number of results just located at the lower side of the search engine box of google.

Surely, first you can check your keywords, these keywords are not same but semi same "iPods" or "iPads", so result of keywords is different.

    Hi Petermiller,
Meta description makes no sense in order. Your order can be anything but you need to do proper keyword research and make sure you include them in your title and description.

It does matter, actually. The first keyword you declare would be your primary. This primary keyword would then be identified by the Search Engine. You should decide clearly the keyword you use in your Meta.
