Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place. I am looking for a forum which is actually read by Yahoo admins. You won't believe what's going on. When I get a Lottery or a Testament email sent from some Yahoo account, I forward to abuse@yahoo.com, which usually in 48 hours answers "we have taken appropriate actions versus such account etc.etc - We cannot disclose what etc.etc.", which IMHO means the account has been suspended. I am collecting those msg., I have about 250 ) But I have a Messenger problem. 1) Every time I receive on the messenger an abuse like one of those fake job offer, or spam, I usually report it also to abuse@yahoo.com 2) In such case they must have some script which forward my messages to messenger-abuse@yahoo-inc.com, which does NOT exist. 3) So the msg. bounces back with a "Returned mail: see transcript for details" 4) then I REply to the msg, asking WTF 5) this time they answer in person with: "It appears that the sender of this message forged the header information to give the impression that it came from your email address. The sender seems to have used your email address in the "reply-to" and/or the "from" field of the message sent out and, as a result, misdirected email is being returned to you." 6) So I again answer back with: "No forging. I actually HAVE SENT that message, do you mean I don't remember my email? bla-bla-bla" 7) here they do not answer anymore, and the thread dies. This is a disaster. Every messenger abuse costs me 3 messg. If I well counted, this is happened 32 times ! I am aware that abuse@yahoo.com is outsourced in India and every time a different guy answers. What I don't know if it is Yahoo policy to ignore messenger abuses. Any help ?
