Messages won't switch to "read" status

    Many times I will have to read a message multiple times/cancel the pop-up multiple times in order for my PMs to go to read status. I have also tried just deleting them, however this doesn't work either.

    I just read there has been some database problems and am guessing this is also related but is there any quick fix, or a way to make it more tolerable?

    It is a data base issue which occurs at times of high database usage. Database is just saying, "Leave me alone. I am tired."
