Message from Google

I went into my Google Webmaster Tools and the below message was in my account's message box:

We've received a request from a site owner to change the rate at which Googlebot crawls this site: http://www.desireechocolates.com/
- Old crawl rate: Normal
- New crawl rate: Normal
This new crawl rate will stay in effect for 90 days.

Has anyone ever received a similar message from Google? Not sure what this is all about.

It's refering too the tool located at Dashboard > Tools > Set Crawl Rate, someone changed it to the normal rate and it's telling you it will stay that way for 90 days.

 

Strange ... you shouldn't see it unless you made a change ...

 

You can get some very strange error messages from Google. Three times I have contacted our developer about error messages and by the time he look into the matter it no longer there. I don't know if that's what is going on with your account, but strange messages come and go with Google.

 

That's also correct.
Well you should keep your credentials very secret.

 

It's kinda weird that you received that kind of message,... I haven't received though..
