    Good, French are boring.

I lived in Antwerp for about 6 months in 97. Spending the weekends in Knokke. I had a lot of fun. :D

Hey kandeman, welcome to DP :)

You have some fine beers in Belgium - Leffe, Chimay, Duvel, Leifmans, Hoegaarden... where can a guy take his girl on a romantic holiday in Belgium and yet still have an excuse to sample all the quality brews? :D

I was living in Mier St. (I think that is how it is spelled), the main street with all the shops. I was living in the top floor of old building in the end of Meir in front of the MacDonald Restaurant. It is the building with all the sculptures on the balcony and walls.

I miss Antwerp, great beers, great women, it is just such a fun city, had a great time there.

It's Meir , and there are some really nice appartments there, i'm still living @ my parents , but if i make enough money later , my dream is to buy a penthouse on meir(maybe if I recieve my first google check ;) )

Why did you move out of antwerp?

Thank you for correction. I left Antwerp because of the rain and more important because I was too lazy to learn Dutch, other than that I loved it.

I am thinking of going back there, how much the penthouses go for now? I was renting mine and I was paying about 40,000 Bfr/ month for rent. what will be the price roughly if I want to rent now?

40.000 bfr, is like 1000 euro or 1200$ , i think the prices remained stable @ the meir.
It's still as nice as 10 years ago.

And indeed the rain is pretty irritating.
