message about ip hash? what are they?

    just now when i logged in today i got a message about ip hash or somethign which i never seen before, just wondering what are they for if someone can explain me alittle about it? :cool:

    well, i didn't really put much attention to it neither i remember exactly all the things it says but put it short after i logged in instead of the usual "thanks for logging in" i got that box saying things about ip hash and that only premium users can see my location through my true ip address and stuff, with my ip hash code included which is a long list of numeric and alphabetic code.

    Are you sure you aren't talking about clicking on the IP button on a post?

    well, after reading your last reply i just tried to click that button myself and got me the same message LOL so it seems it turns out i might be just clicking it by accident when i was not logged in hence when i got logged in and the page refreshes it gets me that :D
