Mesothelioma? Workman's Compensation?

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by david_sakh, Sep 9, 2004.

I heard that keywords like Mesothelioma and Workman's Compensation are high-priced by scanning around on the forums. I did a search for a comprehensive list of high-priced terms but I couldn't find one for free.

What are some other high-priced keywords like Mesothelioma and Workman's Compensation that I could use? Or IS there a freely-acessable database out there.

I'm considering setting up a blog (maybe forum or site) focused on a high-priced keywords about which I know enough to shout out about. But I dunno if it's worth it unless I can come up with a list of high-value terms to choose a topic from.

(Also since Mesothelioma is a specific disease affecting a specific portion of the populace - is there a market for information about other person-specific ailements, such as diabetes or other forms of cancer?)

    Any help? :(

"You assess cost through the AdWords portal at http://www.google.com/adwords.

You can put in random words and see what AdWords wants to charge advertisers for those words.
    "

yay! I didn't know you could do that.

But *has* anyone stumbled across a database since that topic died, or do I have to keep bombing the adsense portal?

Keep in mind, just because it is a high cost AdWord does not mean that it is necessarily a high cost AdSense word. Much of the more expensive AdWord's users choose not to show them on non-Google sites.

I would be one of those people. I manage high ticket Adwords campaigns and won't run them in the content network…threads like this have a lot to do with that decision.

YES!!! That's the point! I can't very well make profit from a site if I do not know what kinds of words will yield me the most profitable results. :(

I know very little about Mesothlioma nor have I dealt with workman's compensation - the most dangerous job I've been in has been lawncare and I was self-employed. Besides if I started spouting off and giving advice about treatments to Mesothlioma patients, I could probably get in trouble for it. Besides, morally, giving out ungrounded advice on something as serious as cancer is not something I want to do. But I would like to start a meaningful blog, forum, or webstie about a high-value topic that I have some experience with. That's why I'm looking for some kind of list. I know such a thing has to exist somewhere...

I meant in the forum. People start up threads about high priced keywords when there are already threads on that. I think they just think people will click on the banners above.

Hmm... I should talk to my mother. She's been in Workman's Comp since I was little.

Sorry. I guess it's easy to be fooled into another vision about easy money on a forum like this. I'll just see what I can do with what I already know.

Sometimes you gotta call it like you see it. Am I wrong, or do you normally post 75+ times your first day in the forums you join?
