Think about it. There are probably hundreds of poorly written Mesothelioma sites, where the owners could not give a single care about Mesothelioma, but instead have this idea in their heads that it's a high paying keyword. THAT'S SICK! You are joining all these social bookmarking sites and asking your friends to click on your ads which is really stealing money from these companies as you bring them no legitimate business. If you instead, wrote an interesting blog about thing you really care about and made it your pride and joy, you would make more money than you do with your Mesothelioma blog. Also, you wouldn't have to stress about asking people to click on your ads because it's an issues they genuinely care about. Not saying that people don't care about Mesothelioma, but it's a very uncommon disease and on top of that you're getting only the internet using group of people who care about mesothelioma, your blog better be at the top of that google search list or traffic will more than likely be nill.
If they ask people to click they will never get paid anyways. Most of the site do not make money so they are wasiting thier time.
I LOVE the mesothelioma bandwagon...it just means that thousands of other high paying keywords are wide open for me! So please everyone focus on mesothelioma!!
Most of the advertisers for that term are attorneys for class-action settlements, that's why it pays so high. These people arrange bulk buyout of liability from perfectly guilty companies who exposed people to dangerous substances, in many cases costing their "clients" the vast majority of the compensation they are entitled to. The commissions in this racket are enormous and in many cases the settlement is already set. They are selling a quick buck to the patients and in many case robbing them of just compensation. That's why they're tripping over each other to get at the victims via Adwords. These advertisers pay what they do because each conversion is easily several thousand dollars in the bank. MFA sites suck, but the clicks can produce...because if you didn't find what you were looking for at the MFA, you are more likely to click through to the advertisers. Someone who is looking for help from mesothelioma by clicking on Adsense is probably in deep trouble anyhow...95% of those clicks are curiosity and the advertisers know it.
I hate meso sites and other sites created simply in the hope of getting a high cpc. These are usually very low quality sites taht feed off other sites for their content.
That's what happens when "High CPC AdSense Keyword Lists" are sold over a year ago. People still use them today hoping to make extra cash. Then you have the people that own these blogs asking how to get traffic to their sites. If people thought about traffic FIRST, they would be making a LOT more money. Before I start a project, I worry about traffic... not how much I'm going to get CPC. It all boils down to your technique in the end. Some people can do it, and some just can't.
I'm hoping to get more traffic, but right now my main concern is my content. My blog is my baby. Plus, I don't really know how to get traffic. I get a few hundred views a day, but no real traffic. But like I said, my blog if more for me than something for other people so that could be part of the problem.
