Christmas has just hit Australia so loads of cheers from Australia for P&R regulars. Ho, Ho, Ho!

I saw the Jewish ppl celebrating Hanukah yesterday so Happy Hanukah too!

I do xmas bi-yearly to keep my partner & family happy and this year we celebrate.

Half-hour into xmas I learned the "holy grail" refers to the actual cup Jesus supposedly used on the evening of the last supper. I never knew that's what it was (thinking it referred to some fictitous fantasy of Monty Python) so thought I would share that info here too.

I would also like to personally thank Jesus for being born so conveniently during a major Roman holiday so we really didn't have to change much at all, aside for a few trinkets on the tree

I do not mean to disrespect those who celebrate Christmas but I personally don't believe on it.
I do believe on Christ and God - yes. I believe them and I am a Christian - but I don't believe on Christmas as the real birth of Christ.

Certain accounts in history tells the real birth of Christ and why Christmas was formed.

So you believe that Christ's story being identical to one Egyptian god-- is just a coincidence? Not ancient copy-pasting?
