I have 2 blogs Site 1 gets about 200 visits per day Site 2 gets about 500 v p d The sites get visitors form google going in to the site from a lot of the inside pages not the home page The sites are similar content so i want to merge them together with out losing visitors And so i only have to post in 1 place instead of 2 sites and a site that gets 700 visits pd If i use the import export posts feature in word press for the posts To merge the sites and point the 2 domains to the same folder on my server Will this work or will i lose a lot of visitors Do you think this will work Is there a better way? thanks
You just have to make sure you 301 redirect all the old URLs to the new ones. Otherwise you'd lose the search engine traffic.
