Hello, I am setting up an online store. The drop shipper has given me access to their product and category database in csv file format. Now there are 2 files. 1. Category product associations 2. Product list I need to merge them so that each product is matched with the correct category (based on sku). Then i need to upload this to my webstore. The webstore runs on virtuemart and joomla. I'd like you to show me how to merge the two files together so i can upload the products to the store. Ideally however all of this would be automated, so the products would be updated a couple of times a day.
I can do it for ya ... I can also set it to be automated by a server or a desktop application if you want... Please specify the budget and give me some more info about these cvs files.... their format and the proper format you need to be inserted in your site...
