My product is a monthly subscription to a service with a one month free trial to start. I am planning to develop an affiliate offer, but I am having difficulty identifying the right affiliate network. Clickbank is out, as it imposes too many restrictions. Digital River or any of its subsidiaries require a very high turnover to start. Most of the other "affiliate" networks are actually advertiser/publisher marketplaces, not sure why they are even called affiliate networks. I have looked at PayGear, Pay Dot Com and Click2Sell which seem to come close to what I need. PayGear worries me a bit. Very new, less than 500 products at this point as near as I can determine. But my chief concern is support. When my users subscribe they provide an email address and a password to log into the site. This information is transmitted to PayPal and back to my site. I can't see how this could be accomplished with PayGear so I asked the question via their online form and haven't heard back. I'm just wondering how many people are manning the ship. Pay Dot Com is IMHO just too expensive for the little value they offer. Click2Sell seems ok, but how well is it known among affiliate marketers? Any feedback on these 3 or any other networks that could handle my type of service would be welcome.
Why can't you use a normal Affiliate Network? Seems to me any Affiliate network can get you signups to your paypal landing page where your customers signup for your monthly service.
What do you call a "normal" affiliate network? I thought they were all normal.. LOL ;^) Any affiliate network does not have the features I require: - integration with PayPal - supports full set of PayPal IPN variables, required to transmit user data at signup - supports monthly subscriptions with ongoing commissions to affiliates - allows free trial period - low/no setup fees - reasonable transaction fees I checked your sig url, but it is a little thin on info! Especially the "About Us" page LOL...
