Hi all, I'm working on webapp that awards users points for fulfilling specific tasks. My goal is to have these users cash out their points in the online store in exchange for digital gift cards which will be emailed to the user. My question is, is their a gift card merchant service that I can use where I would pay a discounted price for a digital gift card? For example, the user could select a $100 gift card to amazon, but I would only have to pay $90 for it and then send the user the $100 digital gift card via email? The discounted price would then be a commission that I earned for making the sale. Does this exist? Does anyone know of a service that I could use for this? Thanks, Dusty
Hi Dusty, This doesn't exist. You may be able to find users online who'd be willing to sell their gift cards to you at a discounted rate, but there isn't a shop that does this type of thing, I'm afraid. Shops/online stores who sell gift cards themselves only earn a very very small commission on those sales. The best I ever saw was a £15 PSN card for £14.99.
