menu in header

I have installed taxonomy module and made few categories and subcategories.
but none of the category name showing on my website.I have checked but cant understanding where to fix this.
Please tell me how to show this categories in header.I mean just as menu

I had installed this module and activated too but it doesnot showing in the sitebuild .
can you tell where i am missing

 

You need to look under admin->content->taxonomy

thanks for this thing somehow i learned the menu to show but here one problem is their
for the vocabulary terms the link shows domain.com/cateory/maincategory/subcategory but i need like this
domain.com/subcategory
domain.com/category
but should be after domain name
I also installed views module before only but i didnt understood how to use it.If their any tutorials on this then let me know.

 

For getting the url the way you want it enable the Path module and then download and install the Pathauto module. In Pathauto you can then configure the paths the way you want them to look.

For Views tutorials just search Google, there are plenty
