Wow, I know this is quite the long shot. But I'm a 19 year old student who has way to much time on his hands. I'd love to have maybe a mentor who I could chat with over skype or IM programs to mentor me in anything from Online Marketing, Businesses, Web development, or even how to set up databases. Like I said, I know most people on here are quite busy, so I do know this is a longshot. But sometimes I get discouraged trying to excel in online practices when I know it could be the greatest thing for me if I just had a little bit of guidance. Well, I put it out there. ~Jesse
What you actually want to do ?... I suggest you to use Google more to get more information & knowledge about things you want to learn! DP is also superb place to acquire practical things!
Well, I'm very new to online things, I'd like to learn maybe some HTML or PHP along with some MySQL. So far I've been using w3schools.com to try to help me with HTML.
JBMedia, best thing you can do is keep reading. There are so many free resources and tutorials these days that publishing a book in any subjects you mentioned would difficult I'd imagine. You can even try searching for an individual question and it's answer will most likely be posted somewhere. Since you are still quite new to IM type stuff, you need to read as much information as you can. I'm talking about reading methods and stuff others use, but don't copy the same exact stuff they do. If they say something like using a baseball site, use a football site or something like that. Add a twist and be happy... It will take some work, but after doing your first job and bring in some doe, you will be motivated to keep it going, and who knows. You could be the next million-aire!
It's hard to find someone willing to help a complete stranger anything when it comes to making money online. Just read and research here in DP, you will find all your answers in this forum.
