Hey guys i have been lurking the forum for the past 2 weeks the knowledge i have gained has been invaluable. So now its time to take this a step further and get some opinions and reviews on my main website that i am attempting to profit from. The website has been active for a year but me and my team have not started actively working on it until just the last 4 months. We get most of our traffic from interviewing super pretty models with huge fan bases and doing pop culture , tech and style related stuff. Would love idea's on how to make the site better especially in the SEO area , we are only getting about 140 people from search engine traffic a day the rest comes from facebook , word of mouth and twitter. The other issue is advertising space , we currently are on buysads for a cpm of 0.85C and have not gained in advertisements from that previously we were charging about 16$ a week and would occasionally get a few ad spots but nothing consistent. Hi, I think you can improve in terms of SEO by doing more forum postings, guest postings, Web 2.0 sites. Also, try Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Formspring and other social networking sites that are most visited by people.
Hey Nawshale Yea i agree that is one thing that i think is killing me , we are on a few of those sites and have a huge following on facebook and twitter but we need more linked in sites , i had never thought of form spring and stuff , we are going to start promoting pinterest a lot harder here soon. In our industry it seems really hard to guest post unlike the business and blogging community.
