Interesting thread...But you were not correct 100%,I am a man and I do click the ads..The most important thing that you should make the ads relevant to your site's content, then the visitors will click.
I think the exact opposite. Most woman I know like to write where the guys I know don't like to write.
Excellent observation. The reality is that girls visit a lot more than men too, and it is a well-researched and well-etablished fact that girls buy more than men. So yes, no matter whether your target end-users are male of female, for the sales channel it is probably the female brain and emotions that you want to excite more than the male one.
Yes, I am a man and click a lot, but I think it depends on the shopping, let's say habits. Women tend to shop a lot offline, while man tend to leave women as it is and let them shop for them. I don't like to shop/online or offline, but I do like to buy affiliate stuff/domains and content. So, basically, I'm not so targeted by big brands, but women are.
Very interesting situation. Maybe is because women are more interested then men on purchasing products advertised at adsense, so them click more.
I think it's mainly how he incorporates his ad's into his website. Also, the topic of the content. Obviously fashion is a high cpc and good earner! Mine is designed around vacuum therapy devices: pos-t-vac(dot)com
Why do people revive threads that has been dead for several years? Interesting topic though. I wonder if they convert the same as well, I might just try it out.
maybe because those women more curious about the topic, so they want more information and click whatever link around the articles
