Greetings pros - I need to set up a membership site and don't have a clue where to start. Any advice or resources I can turn to? Thanks, Scott The Big Banana
Thanks, Dr. Sell, but I don't want resale rights or affiliate rights. I have a ton of great marketing and systems products that I want to sell in a particular industry and have a need for simplicity too. Thanks, Scott The Big Banana
Already been on google, Daniell. It's as confusing as ever! I need a Membership site that will allow me to upload and sell programs that will include video, text, images, and audio programs. I envision a monthly fee for access to all information. Items will be added as they become available, but I have at least 10 that I can start with. Therefore the site must be easy to administer, easy to upload to, easy to use, highly professional, easy to punch in a credit card, and be of extreme value to me, the owner, and to my members. Because I'm not script-savvy, I'm contemplating hiring an expert to administer the site for me. So that's my second inquiry. Would you do it alone or would you hire an expert to do a membership site? If you suggest a pro, do you have any recommendations? Thanks, Scott The Big Banana
Thanks gang - @whiteda2 - I have checked into amember and was very disappointed with their response to my 1 simple question. I inquired about integration with e-junkie once on their forum and once to their help desk, and didn't receive an answer for 3 days. I sent another message to their forum and finally received an answer the next day. They don't support e-junkie and pretty much blew off my further inquiries. I'm sure they have a great script but support is important to me since I'm a rookie at hosting let alone a membership site. I am looking at membergate now. It's pretty expensive but the support seems very solid which would be worth it to me. @Lauraebony - Thank you, I will check into pound-investors.com @silveraden - The site will be for downloading marketing and systems programs including .pdf, .doc, .avi, .swf, .flv, .mp3, .wav, and a few other standard file format types. @BromptonWeb - I'll check into it, thanks.
