Over the last few months I've had www.valueontheweb.com built. It's PHP and flash, and it's integrated with paypal and paydotcom. The site provides data on previous website sales, and allows users to graph the results of their searches. You can check it out for more info.

Well, during that same time, I was trying to raise money for a geo-targeted video + social networking site. Valueontheweb.com was my plan to sustain myself in case we couldn't raise money, but we got some investor meetings much quicker than I anticipated. A few weeks ago, we started getting a lot of investor interest and now we have a term sheet. Part of the requirement of the investors is that give up my other websites and focus exclusively on the project they are funding.

So, even though I haven't started to market it, I have to get rid of it. I have $3000 in the site so far, and I'll take a slight loss on it if I have to, but if I can't get a decent price for it, I'll try to sell it elsewhere.

I have 3 people that signed up and paid after I wrote a blog post about it. The data for the website sales is entered by a data entry person who spends about 10 hours a month, then I enter sales data myself too. If you can write a spider to automate it, you could really do well.

I suggest you only consider this site if you are a serious programmer, or have one on your staff.

If you want to check it out first, sign up and then send me a PM and I will give you a 24 hour membership.

PM me with any questions, or post them here.
