Greetings, I am looking to do "Member Exchange" arrangements. The reason I am not calling it a "post exchange" is because I am not interested in quantity of posts or just exchanging posts. I am looking for someone who can get their head into it a bit more and help me build a specific area of my site. In exchange, I will be a high-quality member on your site. I will join and read your rules, and be a member. You would join my site and meet the requirements of joining and getting transferred to full access. We would try to be a consistent, daily member for each other who swings by each day. Obviously we may not be around every single day for a variety of reasons, but not showing up for a few days, or several days, would be unusual. So, if you must have a post number to chew on, that would be a minimum of 30 posts a month, spread out. But I will not be keeping track of my post count or yours. I will simply treat your site as a site I am a Member at and stop in every day or two, and make a few posts. I might just make one post. It depends upon what is going on and how I feel - because I am a natural Member as you would be. I may even hang and do a bunch of posts that day, or twice that day, because I feel like it. The point being, I am a Member and act naturally as one, doing what I imagine would be a minimum of one post per day on average. I might make a few light-hearted short posts because that is my nature and that is what a typical, real member like me sometimes does. Unless, of course, you have some specific mission for me. I can tweak myself to serve your specific needs or desires. For example, maybe you want someone who is controversial. Maybe you want someone to help make a forum what you envision it to be by adding original, intellectual content. Maybe you want someone to keep your Members reminded of something. Maybe you will request me to bring out my humorous side and mess with a few people. I am very opinionated about a lot of things so if your needs or subject matter are comfortable for me, I can easily do any of that. I will not agree to do be something I am basically not or get into a subject matter or site I hate or have zero interest in. I can't be natural and myself enough if that were the case. I want to be able to actually enjoy going to your site so if I don't think I will I will need to excuse myself from any arrangement. For example, I can't stand talking about sports and have zero interest in them. I know so little about the details it's embarrassing. So in that case, unless you wanted someone ridiculously lame or had a general or off-topic area you wanted developed, I would excuse myself from that challenge. I would only want to deliver what I am asking for - competence and quality. I am looking for someone to help me build up a newly expanded forum on my site (the one in my sig). It is 24's Web Depot forum. It has three subforums (web showcase, web ownership, web connect). Each forum and subforum has its own Intro stuck to its top. I am seeking an exchange where you would be a high quality Member that mainly focuses on the Web Depot forum and its subforums. I say "mainly focus" because you are of course free to post in other forums that may interest you. This may happen naturally because if you are a normal Member, that is what normal Members sometimes do. But that's optional. I am looking to bring value to the Web Depot and its subforums. I am mostly looking for original quality content, NOT number of posts or copies of other work. I am looking for interesting information, serious questions that you ACTUALLY want and need answers to, and assistance to those who may inquire or have a problem you can possibly help with. Hopefully you will (at least eventually) genuinely dig it, network, learn, teach, and get something out of it. The same goes for me, otherwise, the relationship is not going to work well. That is why I believe it is best that we both understand that at any time, either of us are free to cancel the relationship. That is why I need to first check out your needs, wants, and area or site I am to focus on. So if you think my site is one you could enjoy and that the Web Depot forum and its subforums are up your alley to focus on, tell me what you would like. In post exchange terms, it's at least 30 posts a month, spread out very well with a big focus on quality. In our heads, it's a Member that swings by pretty regularly and is a real asset despite not spending a lot of time when they are there. After you check out my site and the Web Depot forum with subs (located HERE) I will check out your proposal in this topic. If I don't feel comfortable for some reason with your site, I will simply say no thank you but I am not 100% comfortable. I don't want to get into questions and reasons why, because that will only sidetrack the topic and invite unnecessary negativity. Similarly, I don't care why you reject my site or my request. No hard feelings and no need to "go there." Same thing for "cancelling" our arrangement. No questions asked, and no hard feelings. Ever. So check it out and let me know what you would be looking for. Thanks for reading. - Frank
