Hi there, I am working on a website of tutorials using WordPress. I am looking for this. Ability for user to register using a form on the homepage. I have enabled "Anyone can register" from the settings page. Also I am using "Registration Plus" plugin to add some fields on my registration page. On the homepage I will keep a button for Registration which would take the user to the registration page. Special posts available only to registered users. I think this can be done without using any plugin.. Make this post private can be used. Any new post made in the blog must be posted to the registered user. This is more of a newsletter stuff. I don't want to use feedburner as it does not allow to modify the design. Also I want to display a login form on the homepage instead of making the user go to a new page for login. Are these things possible with any plugins?
Yes! There are possible. Just start to build the website. If you need something, or if you don't understand something, you just can ask us
Well I have able to do many things now.. I have added custom fields to the registration page. And also I am able to show a Members List on my blog page using a plugin. Is there a way by which I can incorporate the registration page within by blog design. I mean the registration page uses the default wordpress style and not the theme... Can I pull the registration detail into my blog page? Also I need to put a login form in the sidebar for users to login and logout. And after logging in they must come back to the homepage instead of the dashboard.
ok! I found the way to incorporate the login/logout form in the sidebar.. so this is done.. Now the only thing I am looking at is to incorporate the registration page inside my blog page / design...
