I never see any moderators on here - I see Grunts, Peons, Taurans etc., so presumably one of those titles translates to moderator?

Thanks. So anybody might be a mod, or there again they might not, and there is no way of knowing without looking at that list, is that right? I looked at the profiles on that link and none of them say 'Moderator'.

Why do you care who's a mod anyway?

Well, a couple of times I've seen somebody post in a thread:

    Thread Closed

    or

    This thread is now closed

Naturally enough I've assumed that to be the case, but then the thread has continued so it never was closed and it was evidently not a mod who posted the comments. Then earlier today I was reading a thread where it finished up with 'Thread closed' only this time it was closed for real so that must have been a real mod - but there was no way of telling that when I looked over at the username and rank etc.

Now that's kind of unusual - to have a forum where the mods aren't identifiable - so I was just wondering if I had missed something, like for example if one of these Peon - Tauran - Grunt things corresponded to being a mod., because I don't understand those names either, haha. So that's all why I asked - just for clarification - there's no ulterior reason.

Mods mostly work behind the scenes here to keep everything running smoothly (and they do a great job at it).

I don't really want to know who the mods are either

What I want to know is that daily I am posting on the best which is digitalpoint, and that the services provided for herein are controlled and monitored

Thats why I dont want to know who the moderators are because they are doing a fantastic job, but at the same time, they are not really visible as mods.

DP is like a slick machine which never breaks down

    Great that suits fine!!!

Okay thanks. As you can see, I've been here since March but I haven't used the forum much - I'm sure all will become clear to me in the fullness of time.
