member for 2 days, dont see any backlinks

    hey!

    i have a weight of 14.000. 2 days ago i made 8 different ads for various keywords. the weight ratio is 3:2:2:1:1:1:1:1 . if i check the backlinks in google or with the backlink tool here, i cant see any backlinks for my ad-keywords. if the ads would be displayed somewhere, shouldnt there be backlinks for my urls already?
    for 2 categories my google ranking dropped from 80 to 1780. 1 category dropped -1 the others are stable. what do i have to do or is it just something normal after 2 days of membership? i am a bit nervous and scared about getting sandboxed or something....

    Try to search for BL's on msn.com that will show you some BL's.

    I planted a tree 2 days ago and guess what? It still wasn't grown to it's full potential this morning. Stupid trree!

    My points is: What do you expect? 48 hours won't see your ads filtered through to all the sites yet because of the caching mechanism, 48 hours gives the bots hardly any time to first spider and then index the ads and 48 hours will definitely not be enough time for the SE's to have a think about whether these new links will affect your rankings.

    Ask again in 2 weeks I'd say.

    thanks for these quick answers and for not bitching at me. :p i read a few seo articles, but i am still new to this whole thing. i just wanted to ask about the situation mentioning my weight and the amount of ads i have cuz i guessed there might be the problem. (too much weight per keyword or something)
    i'll wait another 2 weeks and then i'll see ;) thanks!

    Just think if you reciprocal linked with another site would you expect to see the link in 48 hours? Just give it time, msn seems to show them in about 5 days once your links has spread across the network. If you have plenty weight you may see it earlier.

    If you don't have any BLs yet then 14K weight could be excessive I guess. You could always links some Yahoo anchor text to google.com for fun or aim some weight at the unofficial Co-op FAQ ;)

    Google only updates backlinks about once a month....just so you know. I second the recommendation above, you should use MSN to check backlinks.
