Hey, c'mon guys. No need to take the p*ss.

The OP possibly has a point if it is his copyrighted material, no? If this were on a different website we'd be watching it with interest. I'm actually quite curious about what will happen next. Bottom line though is no court order, no removal.

I can't believe you waited almosst three years to decide to sue someone over something so damn simple. Ohhhh wait, the statute of limitations is just about to run out, huh? I seriously doubt any reputable attorney will take your case. It's pathetic.

Not really, I asked a popular host how they feel about dmca, they said they take it very serious, and that they
would not take a chance on going to court and would honor any valid DMCA. If he thinks he has something,
then he should file a dmca, and let them handle if, and if not, then just move on, even though a dmca
is nothing more to me then a fancy written email, a host may not want to get wrapped up in the
middle, and rather shut you down, rather then be caught up in the middle of copyright...some would
rather dump you then be liable for anything...so it would make sense that a host may not wait
for a court order when they can avoid this, and take action now...but I bet that 95% of complaints
are from teens and invalid complaints that have no money anyway...

    IMHO:

    1. Your rights are only as good as your ability to enforce them, especially on people who
    don't agree with you.

    2. Some people tend confuse freedom and rights with maybe privileges and having things
    done their way.

We don't always get to have our way with everyone. Moreso if any applicable law in any
applicable jurisdiction doesn't address that specific issue.

The moment you post anything online, good luck trying to get anyone to remove it.

I thought DP was on it's own servers? If that's the case, then they are their own host... though I may be wrong on that

people are laughing because of the way the OP is trying to progress this, not because of what he's doing. As you say, defending your rights is important. Bleating like a schoolgirl in open forum about a private matter isn't.

LOL! +rep for making me chuckle xD Americans really do seem to be big on lawsuits compared to us.. >.<

This really is extremely lame, OP.. And btw, how does a forum post stop you getting a job?! - It could be hearsay. What utter rubbish.
