Megapowerhosting.com?

Do any of you guys have any experience with this company? They have a really good deal on a VPS and i wanna buy it right now but after searching on WHT i found out there was some scandal with the site design being ripped. So Id like to know what you guys think.

They have minimal traffic, so minimal clients, and with the scandal you mentioned I would have no trust in them.

don't go with such host else you'll regret.
Better pay more for a good host

 

hosting companies with such names always scares me off, i don't know why but it does and mostly my feelings are correct.

i would go for a highly branded hoster.

looks like they are using limestonenetwork.com as their supplier, this is the info i came up with after a little research of their dns entries:

Reverse MX A records (PTR)  	Your reverse (PTR) record:
195.217.245.216.in-addr.arpa ->  195-217-245-216.reverse.lstn.net
You have reverse (PTR) records for all your IPs, that is a good thing.

When browsing to lstn.net it brings you to a reseller of vps servers and so on.

Just to let you all know that the so called design being ripped was wrong. We got it when we bought the domain. And this is not the one that is currently in use. Also for the minimal traffic we have. We have over 200 satisfied clients. Just wanted to set the record straight. And yes we are a reseller but not only for limestonenetwork.

well beyond the site being ripped, i saw a post where you were attempting to sell the company. I saw u posted it will be given over a friend, so i'd like some comment on how stable you guys are right now

 

It looks like thier site has just been thrown together, the layout is mismatched in places. Live chat, uptime, paypal and monitoring icons just look like they've been placed anywhere. That daft music plays on every page you open and I just read that they claim their network uptime is 99.9% when WebHostingStuff says 99.69%.

I wouldn't go with them. Its more than likely one of them hosts that have opened during the school summer vacation because they're bored. If I'm correct, the owner will decide to sell once the students are back at school.

I am the one who runs it. My partner helps out a little. He doesnt have the time to run it as he once could. We are stable and were not going anywhere.(We pay our bills) We just bought a few new vps nodes(which cost a pretty penny). Because the current one that we have is full (20 vps clients).
