Megakey only affects you as the person who installed it. MegaMedia, the creators, claim to reach 3.3% of the worlds market, therefore if 50% of MegaMedia users decide to use Megakey, it would still be enough to effect Adsense, Adbrite or any other ad network sure, but how much? Nothing crazy.

The only reason I am hesitant to use Megakey is because, as a site admin, I have to at all times be responsible for knowing exactly what my users experiences are. If I cannot see what the customers are, because I have Megakey installed, then that is a major no-no.

Anyone have experiences with it? Apparently it's risk-free, meaning easy to uninstall if needed, etc.

I honestly did not see all that bit in the Terms of Service. It might have helped if I'd have looked though.

Unacceptable, really. No one should be using that software with those completely arbitrary rules laid down by someone we obviously cannot trust. Thanks for the heads-up.

 

it slows down my pc very much so I uninstaled it for now
but since this is something new I think people will use it eventualy

I am also willing to try. Their advertisement looks promising but I am worried about privacy. Then I searched on google about megakey reviews, came here and read the members reviews. After reading reviews I am not going to install it.
