    I'd love to see a DigitalPoint forum area for meetups and events throughout the country. Any plans for that?

    I don't think DP would want that type of thing.

    Huge running costs, and the userbase is around the world.

    Would be a great idea. But the userbase is world wide. MANY members are from India and many members are also teenagers, which i doubt will travel somewhere for a DP meetup.

    There are already events happening like HostingCon, surely many dp members go there too. And having a DP event will be too much of costs :p Shawn should find some sponsors :p

    If you want to try to set up a get together in a region post in general chat. In the past there have been several regional meetings - the largest about which I know took place in India.
