Hello All, Some representatives from Google are coming to visit my company tomorrow, as we are big customers of Adwords. The meeting will be primarily about Adwords optimization. Does anyone have any questions that I should ask them? I would be happy to post their answers here. Thanks.

Yeah, I got a couple. Do they have any plans to offer advertisers the ability to share a daily budget across multiple campaigns? Any plans to create a ready-made solution with major affiliate programs (i.e. Amazon, LinkShare, etc.) so all AdWords advertisers can get conversion data back into AdWords? Even if there are multiple advertisers on the same keyword with the same domain?
I am in Uk , and was advertising until about a year with with adwords with a spend of $500 to $1000 a month , my accounts now closed. About 15months ago my spend doubled and didnt come down ....... with no corrosponding increase in sales! I felt somehting was wrong soi tacked down and installed http://www.geotekcs.co.uk/adtrack.html It provides a report on every click , and can prevent multiple clicks . i was advertising in UK ONLY , yet 70% of my clicks were coming from far east and were in blocks of time ( 8 click in 15 mins from same korean/chinese ips ) I tried for weeks to contact adwords support and get a response that wasnt automated , or stndard replies and had no choice but to close account. Two thoughts occurred 1) a compeitors was emplying people to click in some kind of clcik farm and therefore making my advertising unprofitable 2) google has clickfarms setup thru myraid of untraceable connections that will effecively be printing money for them. Remember their definition of optimization is: "Let us add more keywords so you can spend more money with us!" Whereas yours is: "Please help me increase my ROI." Don't mention roi, they don't know or care what that means...LOL
This may be too late, but I have one more question. When separate advertisers are placing ads for the same keyword and same domain, are their bids the only factor when deciding which ad to show?
no reply for quite while i he a one hit wonder orrrrrr ...............its pretty clear google convinced him to increase to a wide range of keywords to a worldwide market , the click farms went crazy , he acheived 206,786 clicks in 3 minutes 20 seconds , instantly bankrupting him ... while the google guys were there they impounded everything to pay the debt so hes now homeless with no internet connection ... hes now begging on the streets with a board saying ... "Please help - need money for wifi connection"
I had some Google reps call usand try to charge us for a "search optimization service." I think this is sick- charging us for advise on their own services. This is like buying the instruction manual for your toaster or something. Anyway, they answered a few questions (gratis) and then refused to answer my e-mails. NO $ . Questions I focus on were setting up the analytics in a more effective way and demarcating my campaigns. We are also a large company and I think the main reson for their contaacting us was to expand our advertising with them into their newspaper and radio circuit. I hope you have better luck with this contact.

Pay more to pay more My adspend is climbing steadily, though I haven't been targeted for an upsell yet, I always play this game with my ads: "Let's see how much google really wants to spend my money" Even with lowww ctr and low max bids - sometimes google will still spend your money if you have a decent amount in your daily spend, other times on those exact same campaigns they won't... at any rate, google is like a good woman to AM- can't live with, can't live without.... hold your cards close imo, and never pay them for advice on how to spend your money with them - that part is ludicrous to me... Hey you spend big in my network, let me allow you to pay me to show you how to spend and make more (they should be showing you how to make more without the upsell, don't they realize that in turn you would, in fact, spend more that way seeing as you're generating a bigger marketing budget?). I think its highly likely that these aren't Google reps, just fake losers trying to look like they are from Google so they can make cash. Google already has a wealth of information on their system, and this sort of revenue generation isnt worth their time or effort, so I'm guessing the whole things bullshit.
He probably won't be back and if he does he will probably try to sell an ebook from what he supposedly learned.. I am so tired of all this junk on the net.
