    Hello,
    Is there a way to add meta description and keywords fields to MediaWiki without using extensions?
    My hosting service provides managed MediaWiki, but in managed mode it doesn't support plugins or extensions... I could go un-managed, but then I would need to take care of updating and maintenance...

    Some of the web hosting providers restrict their scope to make their life easy. Were you already aware that your hosting provider doesn't support plugins and extension or you got to know after signing up with them?
