What would be good measures to watch in a company that has reduced it's work force due to seasonal conditions and business trends? The company is in the finance sector and staffed up when business was high and had to cut back on sales force and support staff to match current conditions.

Some obvious things come to mind like sales per salesperson, loan packages processed per processor, lead time to process, employee turnover, etc. Are there any other things that should be looked at in a post cut back situation based on your experience? I am looking for non-obvious metrics that only experience would provide.
