Every country have different meaning for colors. Like in India RED means prosperity.

To me, in the US, red means either "stop" or "error".

 

To me red rum means murder.
Red also means aggressive to some.

 

I think that blue stands for fidelity or trust.

I came to know for the first time that red means prosperity too but what I have always known about colour Red is that it signifies love and danger! Thats why in Hindu weddings the bride wears Red attire almost always.

 

To me red means i did something wrong and blood started coming out. ^_^
