Just wondering if you guys think this extension will have value, sell easily, etc. The landrush begins sometime in June I believe.

Like for example, what would sexy.me be worth in your opinion?

 

sexy.me, in porn industry think also for: blow.me, fu*k.me... and so one... well, this will be be $1.xxx.xxx in less than half year since launching .me

now ...who's faster to reg as many as .me domains?!

If I were to venture a guess, I'd say somewhere between .mobi and .tv

.me is good for personal use. Where to register .me domains? I will buy dozen domains. I really liked this extension. .Me is assigned to the country Montenegro of Europe. Is there any restrictions to registering .me domains?

I believe it's the cc tld of Montenegro ... I might be wrong. These, as many other domains, will at first only be available for the citizens of the country --- like Ireland is for now.

But I'd buy fu*k.me any day.

 

Heres the schedule

May 6 to May 20: General Sunrise Period. During this time, anyone with a trademark is eligible to apply for a .ME domain.

May 20 to June 6: Quiet Period. The registry will be closed to registrars. Sunrise auctions will begin for names that received multiple applications. .ME domain names that receive only one application will be awarded.

June 6 to June 26: Landrush. This is the first opportunity for the public at large to apply. Anyone who doesn’t have a trademark, but is interested in a specific .ME domain, can apply during this period. This is also when Sunrise challenges begin.

June 26 to July 15: Quiet Period. During this time, the registry is closed to registrars. Names for which there was only one application during the Landrush Period are allocated. Landrush auctions will begin for names that received multiple applications.

July 17: Open Registration. Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Are commercial names allowed like buy.me or do they all have to be personal

 

Everything is allowed. Of course, premium name like the one you mentioned will be put on auction probably.
