The report is pretty nice, but to be 100% honest, its not something I couldn't have found out by visiting a few other websites.

Also, I'd recommend you add links in the reports to see detailed backlink details, etc.

Still, looks really clean, nice work.

 

Thanks a lot for the feedback ltn1dr. I hope that by pulling it together in one report and analyzing it side by side, it makes it a lot easier for people to understand some areas where they are behind and can improve their performance.

Ok I just finally tried your tool and overall I am impressed, well done. The results came back in about 10 or 15 minutes which isn't bad but I think I would prefer if the results appeared on screen immediately after the scan, even if it does take 3 or 4 minutes to generate. Somebody else here said they dislike giving their email address and I agree. If you can offer a basic scan without an email address and results printed to screen that would get you more trust. Then once people have seen the results they will probably want to get the "full detailed report" emailed to them and so you can then get them on your mailing list. I think it's a useful tool and the comparisons are good but I think a lot of the comparisons need more explanation. For instance, I'm not entirely sure what is going on with the backlinks comparison and competitiveness comparison. The graph shows me the comparison but I would like numbers. And I want to know what backlinks they have, i.e. they have 10 backlinks from example.com, 5x from domain.com, 50x from test.com. Or maybe tell me that they have 100x PR1, 50x PR2, 10x PR3 and 3x PR4 backlinks. I don't know, whatever.

I know its easy for me to say all this and it may be very difficult to do, but if you can, your toll would be a killer app. But as it is now, it's still quite good. Well done

I have now updated the tool. The reports should be generated quicker now (certainly much much faster than 24 hours), and the sample reports are now linked to the site.
