Seems like .me is still popular even after the initial rush of registrations and perhaps it is too early yet to be thinking about sales but perhaps it's the perfect time while there is still some hype.

    report your .me sales here

I wish the .me registry will let people list their .me domains on their site. That could = mega dollars as those auctions go on forever with the 24hr extensions. On top of that the registry can make an arm and a leg based on commission. So what are they waiting for?

.me domains are funny. It's really just domainers selling them back and forth. Not many people would really even use one besides for a personal site or something, and in that case most of the domains bought are invalid.

Actually there is one .me domain that I want that I've been eying since the beginning that would be PERFECT for the business I want to start. Problem is the owner does not want to sell it. Or maybe they can get lured in if I offer them a large enough offer but as of now I am scraping the pennies.

Also do you think that the winner of toyota.me or insure.me (soon to be winner that is) is bidding only to sell. I think not!

Actually the higher insure.me goes, the more excited I get. It means that the company has a big budget. Hopefully, it won't be long before we see their ads syndicated on national tv. (Progressive.com and Geico watch out).

If that is the case, us domainers that have one word .me domains will see the prices of .me just soar up.

.coms are premium not because they were first but because of the millions spent on ads, drilling it in users heads that .com is "the" suffix.

If there is even just one company with a .me that has a big advertising budget, then this is just fantastic news for .me as a business extension.

I'm one of the bidders for insure.me.

Sadly, the price has now exceeded my budget.

Unless I can find some investors willing to form a syndicate, it looks like this opportunity is lost :(

    Anyone interested?

I agree, whoever buys insure.me will be more than likely a large company and of all the .me domains to have insure.me is a very sound investment and a great chance for an advertising gimmik, whoever wins it will be the envy of all domainers lol.

I disagree, the people who bought them know why they are worth$, people dont bid big dollars lack of knowledge.

I wont say why they are worth big, but the info is out there for you to figure out.

The people spending this kind of money ARE NOT domainers, they have product to sell.

I didnt say they were domainers lol, if you read it I said it will more than likely be a large company and that they will only be the envy of domainers, not that they will be domainers ;)
