I don't get it, I'm getting tons of new hits from google Last 10 Referring Websites Time (EST) Site Address 12:24:00 AM http://www.google.com/search 11:46:00 PM http://www.google.ca/search 11:45:00 PM http://www.google.ca/search 10:23:01 PM http://www.google.ca/search 09:51:00 PM http://www.google.com/search 09:19:01 PM http://www.google.ca/search 09:10:00 PM http://www.google.com/search 09:03:00 PM http://www.google.com/search 08:55:00 PM http://www.google.com/search 08:33:00 PM http://www.google.com/search Code (markup): And when I check what terms were used it was things like "Stickman" & "Ragdoll" .. and "Wpn" .. yet when I search I don't see my site on the 1-10 pages! :S Is there a tool that I can use to check..?
what are you using to get this information? for "external" tracking I'd suggest statcounter; they'll give you the exact page people found your site on. if you have access to your server logs those would be even better, but they're a bit more advanced to interpret, on average. keep in mind however what google shows one person is not always what they'll show another; google has multiple datacenters serving out multiple sets of data.
Go to Web/FTP stats > latest visitors option and search/check for "http://www.google.com/search" you will find the whole path along with the keyword - click on it and u will see the SERP where they are coming from.. as some times they do visit ur website from 5th or 6th page
