I would have loved a great 3 or 4 letter dictionary word, but they're all gone. Even the good domain hacks are gone. Now, it's kind of worthless to throw $40 on a made-up or compound word.
I got 1 of my many many I tried. I wrote about my experiences, check it out. FYI, the 1 I have gotten is already in my GoDaddy account. http://www.profilemile.com/godaddy-me.asp
I'm going to an auction with these two names: Forum.me & Entertain.me Anybody here manged to grab good names?
I got a .me domain and started a thread here for it http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=937860. So submit your .me domains there if you have any.
I don't get the auction thing - how do you take part in one of these auctions? I 'registered' entertain.me but then it got rejected - does that mean I get to go to auction? I'm such a noob lol
I just missed out on a very very good .me domain because I waited to long to search for others, damnit!
Strange i bought forum.me today. not on back order just tapped it in at my registrar an bingo. I was in two minds about it actually. In fact i didnt buy it the first time i checked, i went back for it later and was relieved to see it still available.
it was pre-order, but there were hundreds of others pre-ordering the same names...and after that time period is over, it gets auctioned off....so, anyone who'se a poor individual (like you and me) wouldn't be able to afford the 4 or 5-figure ending prices.
Not sure. Run whois on few domain names and found one that was registered through Godaddy about one week ago. Whatever that means...the .me whois seemed hugely misfunctional anyway.
I had control of two .ME's on Godaddy, I was able to change the name servers and visit the sites shortly afterwards. 10 minutes ago I see that these domains are no longer in my account and they are pointing to some other domain. FFS !
