So current recession also got me.

I can't afford to renew all my [verb].me and wait for the right buyer before selling.

Some of the domains I have to sell are very good and have even been bought for more than registration fee. Most of them are [verb].me and are very brandable!

    Example of domains in this auction: adapt.me, authorizing.me, fade.me, normalize.me, zop.me, etc.

I don't have the time to try to sell them one by one so I'm again starting an auction on ebay. There is no reserve but a Buy It Now option. It's a 5 days auction.

wow, good luck with your auction tata668. That will be a tough one for the winner to maintain, though, becuase the upkeep cost will be so high.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I have 17 .me's... I am starting to think .me was WAY overhyped and has dwindled down far too much in the last year. My favorite ones that I own are SEOs(.)me, heraldry(.)me and heredity(.)me

The winner can keep the domains he likes and let the other domains expire! But I agree 20$/year is a lot to renew a .me. I just can't anymore. I'm sad because I actually like some of those domains I'm selling! :(

For those interested in my .me auction, it ends tomorrow!

By the way, if you plan on bidding at the very last minute of the auction, I strongly suggest you do not wait too much. This is not the first domains auction I start on eBay and some buyers use a "snipper" software which automatically bids for them at the very, very last second (and I mean less than 1000 milliseconds here!). So if there are 10 seconds remaining before the end of the auction and you think you can bid 20$ more than the current highest bid and win the auction, think again! You will be outbidded by those using a snipper software. I therefore suggest you do not wait too much before placing your highest bid.

    Thanks and good luck!

There sure are some great names in amongst that lot, to bad you were not able to hold on to them for a few more years.
If I had spare funds I would definitely be bidding because there is a lot of future potential in some of those domains. The other thing stopping me bidding is that I don't have an Ebay account .

    Good luck with the auction.

    Cheers

Good luck tata! Good to see you're well into $xxx but really hope you break into $x,xxx before bidding closes, I see a lot more than $500 worth of domains in that lot! :)

    Thanks gingerbreadweb!

I would have kept those domains if .me renewal fees were not so high... 20$/domain is a lot of money when you have 100 domains to renew!

I paid way too much for televisions.me when I bought it from Sedo, falling for the hype before the financial doom and gloom set in over the last year. Now I feel I have to keep it because I couldn't stand to admit I wasted all that money, and vainly hope one day I might get it back. :)

How is everyone getting on with their .ME domain sales? Any good sales to report? I've had a few low $xxx but I'm still holding out for big sales in the long-term.

Well I've still got televisions.me. The only .me domain I own that I like, which does quite well as a website, is loveguide.me - probably because it makes sense as a phrase.

I haven't tried selling any, but I have had a few random inquiries. I usually respond with "I've got plans for it, but any reasonable offers will be considered" or similar.

Still not much of a demand for them at the moment, but if we get a few more high traffic sites (like formspring.me) pop up, then it'll be good exposure for the .me extension. It may take a while before the real value of .me starts to shine.

    Cheers

Agreed. I've been pondering selling a few because I'm due to pay about $500 in renewal fees next month but you have to keep remembering the total potential sale value - patience is a virtue!
